Short version: We don't collect your personal data. Your prompt library stays in your browser. We have zero analytics, zero cookies, and zero ads. The only external call is when you use the optional AI Enhance button.

PromptForge Pro ("we", "us", "our") operates at forge.scribespark.online and is part of the ScribeSpark project. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being completely transparent about the (minimal) data involved in using our service.

Section 03What We Do NOT Collect
We want to be explicit. PromptForge Pro does not collect:
- Your name, email address, or any contact information
- Account credentials (there are no accounts)
- Payment or financial information
- Location data beyond what is included in standard server access logs
- Device identifiers or fingerprinting data
- Behavioural analytics, session recordings, or heatmaps
- The contents of your prompt library (it never leaves your browser)
- Information about which AI tools you use with your prompts

Section 04Browser Local Storage
PromptForge Pro uses your browser's localStorage API to store:
- Your saved prompt library (names and prompt text)
- Your selected colour theme preference
This data is stored entirely on your own device. It is not transmitted to our servers, not backed up by us, and not accessible to us. It works similarly to a cookie but persists until you clear your browser data.
How to Clear Your Local Data
You can remove all locally stored PromptForge Pro data at any time by:
- Clearing your browser's site data / localStorage for forge.scribespark.online
- Using your browser's "Clear browsing data" option (select Cookies and Site Data)
- Using the browser Developer Tools → Application → Local Storage → Right-click → Clear
Section 05AI Enhancement Feature & Third-Party APIs
When you click the ✦ Enhance button, your current prompt text is sent to Google Generative AI (Gemini) via Google's API. This is the only instance in which your data leaves your browser.
Important details about this feature:
- The transmission only occurs when you explicitly click the Enhance button — never automatically
- Only the prompt text you have entered is sent — no other personal data is included
- We do not log, store, or have access to the prompt content sent to Google
- This data is processed by Google under their Privacy Policy
- If you prefer not to use third-party AI processing, use the Forge Prompt button instead — it works entirely in your browser with no external API call
Section 06Cookies & Tracking Technologies
PromptForge Pro does not use cookies of any kind — neither session cookies, persistent cookies, nor third-party tracking cookies. We do not use:
- Google Analytics or any analytics platform
- Facebook Pixel or social media tracking
- Advertising networks or retargeting pixels
- Session recording or heatmap tools (e.g., Hotjar, FullStory)
- A/B testing platforms
Standard web server access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer, user agent) may be automatically generated by our web host. These are used only for server security and error monitoring and are not used for personal profiling.
Section 07Third-Party Links
The PromptForge Pro website may contain links to third-party websites and AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, DALL-E, etc.). These links are provided for your convenience. We have no control over the content or privacy practices of those websites and are not responsible for their privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.
Section 08Children's Privacy
PromptForge Pro is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information through our service, please contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will take steps to address it.
Section 09Your Privacy Rights
Because we do not collect personal data, most data subject rights under laws like GDPR and CCPA are automatically satisfied. Specifically:
- Right to Access: We hold no personal data about you on our servers. Your local data is accessible directly in your browser.
- Right to Deletion: Clear your browser localStorage at any time to delete your local data. There is nothing to delete on our end.
- Right to Portability: Your prompt library is stored in your browser and is inherently under your control.
- Right to Opt Out: The only external data transfer is the optional AI Enhance feature — simply don't use it if you prefer no external calls.

Section 10Security
PromptForge Pro is served over HTTPS (TLS encryption) to protect data in transit. Since we do not maintain a database of user data, the attack surface for data breaches is minimal.
Your prompt library is stored in your browser's localStorage, which is isolated per domain and not accessible by other websites. However, please be aware that localStorage can be accessed by malicious browser extensions or scripts on the same domain — we recommend keeping your browser and extensions up to date.
Section 11Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will always indicate the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
Continued use of PromptForge Pro after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
